Parents Update – Print Spread
Parents Update is an annual print newsletter mailed to the parents of students in NYU's Gallatin School. The primary purpose of the newsletter is to update both parents and students on various programs and events that are available within the school. During my time working as Gallatin's student designer, I was tasked with creating a cohesive spread based around the theme of "Taking Care of the Whole Student."
Plant motifs were illustrated and designed to tie the visual theme together, influenced by studies that have shown that a green environment positively affects one's mental health. They also visually represent growth and nourishment.
