Hey THERE! I'M zoya.
I'm a Chinese-American designer and illustrator based in New York. My work is inspired by a genuine love for people and their stories, as well as a passion for food, mythology, and languages. I recently graduated from NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study with a concentration in Visual Art and Anthropology, completing a colloquium on the Anthropology of Color.
My design philosophy is empathy, with a side of playfulness :^)
In addition to design and illustration, I've worn many different hats in the field of visual arts and my work takes strength in the ability be a "jack of all trades."
I especially like to dabble in:
Film Concept Art
Anything that involves the intersection of multiple mediums.
On my off time, I can be found stressing over houseplants or eating my weight in hot pot.
